Lisa & Michael
Lisa and Michael were married in September 2018, exactly a year after they got engaged. They turned their wedding into a weekend of partying with a BBQ the night before, staying up with friends till 4am, and then up at 6am to get ready for the big day! Even after the last song they took the party back to one of the guest rooms and continued on until 4am the next morning! Lisa tells us about their special memories…
Our wedding day was perfect. We were expecting thunderstorms but the weather cleared up and turned onto a beautiful day. There were so many memorable moments through out the day, but the one that stands out the most was my dad running me over down the aisle! Dad’s in a wheelchair and had brought his big walking wheelchair so he could stand and "steer" me down the aisle. The wind caught my dress just as we turned the last corner and blew under his wheel, he heard me squeal and his immediate reaction was to get away quickly, which just sucked my dress up in his wheels even more and pulled me to the ground. A couple of the guests came to my rescue and managed to get the dress out without scissors (thank goodness!) lucky there were no rips, just a couple good track marks. After a replay of the music we finally made in down the aisle!
After that the wedding couldn't help but be filled of laughter and fun – Michael and I giggled throughout the whole ceremony, as did all of our guests.
