After a day full of romance and surprises, Shreya met Ashneel at their final destination where a stunning styled area set the scene for a beautiful and intimate proposal. Ashneel had enlisted the help of some talented vendors to create this epic and memorable event, including The Proposal Planners and Aislebbeautiul.

Sophie at Aislebbeautiful says: ‘I was tasked with creating a modern, luxurious and unique set-up to match Ashneel and Shreya’s personal style. The couple were going to have a five-course meal at the venue, but had requested a picnic-style set-up also to enjoy their Champagne and dessert afterwards.

The Glasshouse is a grand venue that set the theme for luxury. With a 24 metre aisle running up to the staged area, it was important to create a transition from the vehicle that the Shreya would arrive in, to the area Ashneel was kneeling at.

I was inspired by the boho trend, with simplistic, modern and neutral tones leading up to the styled area. The area was lit with festoon lights, as well as candles mixed with dried floral confetti and small posies to create a more intimate, romantic arrival.

For the styled area I used a more modern and simplistic approach, but used colour to create a punchy impact without being too busy. I used suede fabrics, modern furniture, romantic florals and lots of candlelight to create the perfect area to say ‘Yes!’
