Sinead & Clint
‘When Clint and I began planning our wedding we realised we didn't so much care about the traditional expectations, but rather wanted to just celebrate us as a couple with as much fun and laughter as we could manage in a day.
We spent a fair amount of time trying to find vendors that match our energy and we were lucky with every one of them; they all seemed as excited as us to try and create a relaxing environment and met us with every crazy idea we had.‘
We decided to just go with our favourite colours for the scheme rather than go with the usual options, and our florist was able to combine blue and purple into an amazing solution that looked great together!
Prior to the ceremony we spent the day together instead of apart and jumped in a chopper. The weather absolutely turned it on for us, and we flew up to Mt Alpha. The ground was still mostly covered in snow so we got the perfect mountain top pictures. Afterwards we flew down to the rivers edge for a picnic by ourselves before the craziness of the ceremony and reception.
‘Instead of a typical first dance we spent three months learning the choreography to a lightsaber battle that surprised our guests outside after dinner. Luckily it wasn't too cold, even in September, so that many of our guests enjoyed having a go with them afterwards.
It is almost impossible to narrow down the best parts of the day; the biggest memories are the fun and laughter throughout the day.’
