Stephanie & Cody

Cody and Stephanie gathered with loved ones in a beautiful pear orchard on the family farm to celebrate their special day. The black tie styling in the rustic setting looks stunning, and judging by the smiles on everyone’s face, a wonderful time was had by all! Stephanie tells us about their love story…

After a romanic proposal on the beach (Cody’s favourite place in the world), we began planning the biggest day of our lives, which came sooner than we initially planned. Both of us hold our families very close to our hearts, and when we found out our grandparents were unwell, we decided to bring the wedding day forward to share this very special day with them.

As a symbol of the vows that we shared, we both decided to have diamonds in our wedding rings. The reason behind this is; a diamond’s creation requires immense pressure and intense temperatures to reach its highest potential. Without enduring the adversity and pressure of its environment, the diamond would never become the treasure it was meant to be. We hope the changes we grow through bring incredible value in helping us to forge a remarkable and multi-faceted marriage.

One tradition that we strongly wished to keep in our ceremony was a confetti toss as we took our first steps as a married couple. Confetti is a traditional symbol of good luck for the bride and groom, tossed in the air to wish them health, happiness and a long life together.
