Tegan & Mitchell
Tegan and Mitchell celebrated a beautiful and heartfelt wedding at their family farm, with a very natural and romantic feel. Tegan tells us more…
Mitchell and I met in a bar and got engaged in Queenstown six months later. We have been through many ups and downs during our first five years of being together, but it has meant we have only grown closer and are ready to tackle the world!
Our wedding was a day of love and happiness. We were amazed at how well the weather cooperated – it was overcast in the morning and we thought it was going to rain, then after our ceremony the blue skies came out and we were lucky to have an awesome sunset on the farm, and the stars shone brightly throughout the night.
Our wedding was very minimal. We didn't want a lot of things going on, and we had the best day without all the fuss. Neither Mitchell or myself wanted a hugely decorated wedding, and the farm turned out so beautiful. My parents spent 18 months getting it ready.
You could plant our invitations and they grew wild flowers. Everything was eco-friendly and was able to be reused.
We couldn't be happier with how everything turned out – it was our fairytale day.
