Send your beloved a gift to open as they’re getting ready – perhaps a piece of jewellery, a bottle of bubbly, their favourite flowers, a handwritten love note or a book of memories. You could even make a playlist of their favourite songs to listen to as they prepare for the day ahead.
Take time out
Set aside some time in the day to be together, just the two of you. Go for a ride in your bridal car, sneak off for 10 minutes and toast your marriage in a secluded spot at your venue.
Steal a kiss
Lean over to your new husband or wife and kiss them, whispering how amazing they look and how great the day has been.
Share your love story
Play a slideshow of couple shots during your reception dinner, telling the story of your relationship. Add the perfect love song and there won’t be a dry eye in the house!
Have a dinner date
Amidst all the excitement you may not feel like eating much, but why not set aside the mealtime to sit with your new husband or wife and focus on each other.
