Danielle & Cameron

‘Our love story began in Pauanui, where city girl meets country boy outside the local fish and chips shop. Cameron walked past my car and placed his number through my window on a burger wrapper, and the rest is history! Pauanui is such a special place for Cameron and I as we have both grown up there, with our parents having family baches.

We had a long distance relationship for two years – Cameron went to the mines in Central Queensland, while I finished my university studies at AUT. In 2015 we decided to move to Brisbane and eight years later Cameron proposed to me in the Barossa Valley. The wedding planning started right away, as I didn’t want to have to wait another eight years to marry him!

Planning a wedding from Brisbane had it’s challenges, but all our New Zealand vendors were super helpful and helped us pull off our special day.

Our wedding venue was a special and meaningful place to Cameron and I as we got married on his parent’s property up the Kauaeranga Valley, Thames. With Cam being a country boy and growing up on the property, there was no way he wanted to get married anywhere else than up the valley.
